The Challenge:

Duke's Plumbing had been using a logo designed by freelancers on platforms like FIVRR, which lacked the professional polish and strategic alignment needed to represent their expertise accurately. As Kyle Duke planned to expand his solo plumbing outfit and eventually sell the company, a comprehensive brand transformation was necessary. This brand rejuvenation aimed to reflect their dedication to excellence, trust, and customer satisfaction, providing a solid foundation for future growth.

Our Approach:

Our strategy involved a multi-step approach to create a cohesive and professional brand identity for Duke's Plumbing. Here’s how we executed the project:

Brand Workshop:

We began with an in-depth brand workshop to understand Kyle’s vision for Duke's Plumbing. This session provided insights into the brand’s core values, target audience, and market positioning, forming the basis for the brand’s new identity.


Logo Creation:

We explored various logo concepts, including the possibility of expanding on the existing "man with wrench" idea. The final logo design was selected for its simplicity, strength, and ability to be extended into a full brand identity.
The new logo encapsulated Duke's Plumbing’s spirit and service excellence, ensuring it resonated with the ideal customer.


Style Guide Development:

A detailed style guide was created to provide clear directions on how the brand should be represented visually and in terms of tone of voice. This guide included comprehensive instructions on logo usage, color palette, typography, and visual elements.


The style guide also covered extended marketing materials, such as patterns, illustrations, and potential characters, ensuring consistent brand representation across all platforms.

Marketing Material Mockups:

To visualize the brand’s future presence, we created mockups for key marketing materials, including uniforms, stickers/magnets for service vehicles, billboards, an example advertisement, and general stationery.
These mockups served as guides for future marketing materials, offering a tangible glimpse into the brand’s potential.
